This is dependent on your performance, dedication, and commitment to training and development for your age group. Please speak to your coach for more information.

The main payment will be training fees, dependent on your squad. This is a monthly payment normally set up by bank standing order. This covers pool time, coaching and ASA membership fees. Any further queries, contact [email protected]

To get the most out of some training sessions, we often use addition equipment. This includes short fins, kick boards, pull buoys, hand paddles, and snorkels. See our Training Kit List page for more info.

Individual best times from previous competitions are available on the Swim England website
Results of Open Meets and other Galas are often available on the day either posted up on paper or (increasingly) available online.

Timekeeper: Competent with a stopwatch and able to act as a Chief Timekeeper at an event.
Judge: Knows the laws of the various strokes and is able to place the finishing order of an event.
Starter: Nice loud clear voice with the ability to settle the swimmers and start them fairly.
Race Results: Knows how to determine the result of a race using electronic timing.
Referee: Responsible for running the event safely and fairly.
Announcer: Reads out safety announcements prior to gala and then announces each race.
Recorders: Record results of each race from slips provided by judges.
Runners: Throughout the gala getting results sheets from the Recorders and displaying them.
